L. Michelle Doguet, MD, grew up in Beaumont, Texas.  She attended Texas A&M University in College Station, majoring in Psychology. Thereafter, her passion for medicine led her to attend the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where she graduated with her Medical Doctorate in 2006.  She then completed her residency training in psychiatry at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.  She completed a one year Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship in Little Rock, at the Arkansas State Hospital before returning home to Beaumont, Texas, to practice psychiatry.

Dr. Doguet is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
